With experience as an in-house attorney and in business operations, I understand the many aspects to consider in advising a client’s business. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was a product development engineer where I worked on first-to-market and new integration concept products for both large and small companies.

I now practice business law, real property, and estate planning. My favorite part of my job is working with people. I love hearing their stories and finding out what is important to them.

I am a lifelong passionate equestrian. I competed and trained for many years and now ride every minute possible. I live with my family on our horse farm outside of Grand Rapids, where we also grow much of our own food.

Previously, I served on the Kent Conservation District, the Kent County Agricultural Preservation Board, and led the Kent County 4-H Horse Leaders.
